The Principle and Winding Method of Coil Transformer
Transformers are divided into two types: mutual inductance transformers and autotransformers. A changing current is passed through the primary coil and the secondary coil transformer to generate a changing magnetic field, and the secondary coil is induced in the changing magnetic field to generate a changing current. The ratio of the primary coil to the secondary coil determines the transformation ratio of the transformer. During the whole process, the coil plays the role of converting electric energy to magnetic energy and then to electric energy, and changes the voltage and current at the same time.
Ⅰ. Introduction of coil transformer
The working principle of the transformer: The transformer is composed of an iron core (or magnetic core) and a coil. The coil has two or more windings. The winding connected to the power supply is called the primary coil, and the remaining windings are called the secondary coil. The secondary coil is outside the primary coil. When the primary coil is supplied with alternating current, the transformer core generates an alternating magnetic field, and the secondary coil generates an induced electromotive force, which can transform the AC voltage, current and impedance. The turns ratio of the transformer coil is equal to voltage ratio.
A coil transformer is a coil that requires a coil to operate. According to the number of phases: single-phase transformer: used for single-phase load and three-phase transformer group. Three-phase transformer: used to step up and down the voltage of the three-phase system. Divided by capacity: small transformer coils generally use round copper wires with insulation, while large transformers use flat copper wires with insulation.
Ⅱ. Several winding methods of coil transformer
1. The primary coil or secondary coil can be wound first. Usually, the primary coil of the transformer is wound first and then the secondary coil is wound. Because the wire diameter of the secondary coil is relatively large, winding on the outer layer makes the mechanical performance more reliable.
2. The load voltage of the primary coil and the secondary coil transformer is relatively high, try to wind in parallel, if the wire diameter is too small and it is difficult to wind in parallel, try not to overlap too many winding turns, so as to avoid the voltage difference between the front and rear windings being too large and easy breakdown short circuit. It can be wound in multiple layers, and white wax paper should be placed between layers as insulation between windings.
3. Green shell paper or single-sided film insulation paper should be used to wind 2 or 3 layers between primary and secondary to strengthen insulation.
The most basic form of a transformer consists of two coils wound with wire and combined inductively with each other. When an alternating current (with a known frequency) flows in one of the coils, an alternating voltage with the same frequency will be induced in the other coil, and the magnitude of the induced voltage depends on the coupling of the two coils and the magnetic interaction. the extent of the chain.
